The Church of Chocolate

  Thank You!

Thank you very much for supporting and (hopefully) becoming a member of the CHURCH of CHOCOLATE, the most peculiar and fastest growing non-denominational, non-traditional church on the web.*
We chocophiles need to stick together!
Chocolate uber alles!**

Remember our motto:
Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we may diet!

Now go wash your hands before you touch that keyboard again.

* I just made up that statistic.  Sounds good, though, eh?
** Meaning "chocolate on everything" -- well, "chocolate above all", really...
Okay, let's get back to fundamentals... which means focusing on the FUN before going to the MENTAL.

And now, we leave you with some chocolate inspiration:

Twill make Old Women Young and Fresh;
Create New Motions of the Flesh.
And cause them long for you know what,
If they but taste of chocolate.

From "A History of the Nature and Quality of Chocolate"
James Wadworth (1768-1844)

Good Living is an act of intelligence, by which we choose things which have an agreeable taste rather than those which do not.

Brillat-Savarin (19th century chef and food writer)

Strength is the capacity to break a chocolate bar into four pieces with your bare hands - and then eat just one of the pieces.

Judith Viorst

"Liquidum non frangit jejunum." (meaning '[chocolate] liquids, amongst them, do not constitute a break in fasting.')

Cardinal Francis Maria Brancaccio of the Vatican, 1662.
This means that you can have chocolate even while fasting before mass.
